RE and Collective Worship

RE is taught following the Norfolk Agreed Syllabus which includes study of Christianity and a range of other religions – you are welcome to view a copy on request.

As a Church School we hold a daily act of Collective Worship which is mainly Christian in nature.

Collective Worship is focused around a programme called ‘Values for Life’ which include exploring of values such as:

  • Courage,
  • Creativity,
  • Peace,
  • Trust,
  • Forgiveness,
  • Justice,
  • Thankfulness,
  • Compassion,
  • Friendship,
  • Hope,
  • Truthfulness,
  • Humility,
  • Generosity,
  • Respect and Reverence,
  • Wisdom,
  • Perseverance,
  • Service and
  • Responsibility.

Parents are entitled to withdraw their children from RE and Collective Worship should they wish to. Parents wishing to do so should contact the Headteacher for a meeting.
